Im using the case morphology discussed in the trimoraic roots thread, but ignoring the fact that the roots aren't trimoraic, the morphology works anyhow.
I'd say you don't need a preposition here; it's fine without "lu".
Oh, I should add a sentence.

The sentence above is an applicative version of Matt's sentence, and it can't really be rendered easily in English. The phrase
be miolu is entirely optional; the whole could read
Lomi au ambotxinu nenko, and it would mean, "The cat put something into the hand". Note that I have coopted
be for my own nefarious purposes, and have decided that it governs the genitive.
